The Opel Astra TwinTop enters the German market with prices starting at 23,650 euros. Customers can order the four-seat cabrio-coupé from February 1 in the equipment versions Edition and Cosmo. Well-balanced proportions and a stretched silhouette accentuate the elegant looks. With a length of almost 4.5 meters, the convertible reaches dimensions comparable to a mid-size cabrio, enabling four passengers to sit comfortably and offering generous trunk space of up to 440 liters (205 liters with top down). The Astra TwinTop will be in showrooms in May.
The ECOTEC gasoline and diesel engines range from 77 kW/105 hp to 147 kW/200 hp. The comprehensive SAFETEC safety concept includes an active rollover protection system as standard. Safety roll bars are concealed directly behind the rear head restraints and deploy automatically within a split second in the event of a rollover. Unique high-tech options such as the adaptive IDSPlus chassis (Interactive Driving System) with electronic Continuous Damping Control (CDC), and steering-linked AFL bi-xenon headlamps (Adaptive Forward Lighting) distinguish the new Astra TwinTop from its competitors
